IOCTL_HAL_GET_OAL_VERINFO

Returns the HAL version information of the Pocket PC image.

Usage

#include “oemioctl.h”

Syntax

BOOL KernelIoControl( IOCTL_HAL_GET_OAL_VERINFO,LPVOID lpInBuf,DWORD

nInBufSize,LPVOID lpOutBuf,DWORD nOutBufSize,LPDWORD lpBytesReturned );

Parameters

lpInBuf Should be set to NULL.

lpInBufSize Should be set to zero.

lpOutBuf Must point to a VERSIONINFO structure as defined by

OEMIOCTL.H. The fields should have these values:

S cboemverinfo sizeof (tagOemVerInfo);

S verinfover 1

S sig; “ITC\0”

S id; ‘N’

S tgtcustomer “”

S tgtplat SeaRay

S tgtplatversion Current build version number

S tgtcputype[8]; “Intel\0”

S tgtcpu “PXA255\0”;

S tgtcoreversion “”

S date Build time

S time Build date

nOutBufSize ThesizeofVERSIONINFOinbytes.

lpBytesReturned Returns sizeof(PVERSIONINFO).

Return Values

Returns TRUE if function succeeds. Returns FALSE if the function fails.

GetLastError() may be used to get the extended error value.
